Visit from Michael Delany- Olympic Medal Winner!

On Monday, Sacred Heart were very lucky to have a visit from Michael Delany, who is an uncle of three of our students. He spoke at assembly and answered questions about his olympic win in Los Angeles in 1984. He won a silver medal in the 4x100m freestyle. Michael represented New South Wales and Australia between 1978 and 1985 winning numerous State and National swimming titles. We all loved listening to his motivational speech and enjoyed his humour. Thanks for visiting Michael! 

Orecchiette Making with Signor James

Year 6 had the privilege of making pasta today with their Italian teacher Signor James. It's typical of The region of Puglia in southern Italy. Grazie Signore!

Confirmation Class 2012

Last Thursday, Friday and Saturday, children from the parishes of Sydney Harbour North made their Confirmation and received the gift of the Holy Spirit. Congratulations!
